Somewhere in between 90’s hip-hop and the sounds of house you will find the Toronto based duo Strange City & Tele weaving their story through sound. Strange City an accomplished DJ and Tele a hip hop emcee, producer and audio engineering graduate had formed a very close musical bond over the years after countless hours spent in the studio experimenting with synthesizers and VST’s.  Since joining forces the team has made some incredible strides staging some really cool parties around Toronto with international acts Luke Solomon, Roy Davis Jr., Axel Boman and Urulu, just to name a few. In 2017 the world saw some of their first releases being picked up from a list of prominent record labels such as Cr2 Records, Maintain Replay and Toronto’s very own M5. Over the past few years the duo has become known for their energetic and housey sets which have allowed them to gain a strong following across Toronto and open up for some of the biggest names in the game including Apollonia, Dennis Ferrer, Derrick Carter, Purple Disco Machine, Onsunlade, Mark Farina and the list goes on. If you have not seen these two play yet make it your year to discover the energetic and passionate duo, their presence behind the decks and ability to move a dance floor is something you need to witness!
