This June 20th, Rhythm kicks off its 3-part open air series with a first chapter you won’t want to miss — the Toronto debut of the globally beloved Toy Tonics Jam.
Toy Tonics has earned its place as one of the most defining labels and communities in today’s dance music scene, fusing house, disco, funk, and soulful club grooves into a sound that lives where underground club culture meets pure dancefloor joy.

Steering the day’s soundtrack are two pillars of the movement: UK producer and selector Cody Currie and Munich duo COEO.

Holding it down on support are Toronto’s own Jodie D (The Little Jerry) and House of Lords, setting the mood for a full-day open-air celebration of community, discovery, and the shared love of dance music.
This is just the beginning. Rhythm Open Air runs across three Saturdays, three sounds — kicking off June 20 with house and disco, rolling into July 25 for electro and open format, and closing out August 29 with minimal and tech house. Each day runs 3PM–11PM, with afterparties still to be announced.
Expect a day that moves with the sun: golden grooves stretching into warm evening rhythms, a crowd that comes to dance, and selectors who know exactly how to read a floor. Whether you’re deep in the Toy Tonics catalogue or just discovering the sound, this is open-air done right — no pretense, all feeling, built for the people who let the music carry them.
We’ll see you in the courtyard on June 20, 3PM–11PM, at 131 McCormack.
