DC’s love for music started early—on the kitchen floor, wooden spoons in hand, turning pots and pans into a drum kit while whatever music filled the room became the soundtrack. Music runs deep in DC’s veins. The journey took a pivotal turn during Summer School ’91, where he met DJ Rock Da House, an encounter that led to owning a first pair of Fisher turntables within a week—perfect for learning the craft without risking life or limb.
He went professional in 2005 and has been in constant motion ever since, not going 30 days without DJing in over 15 years.
Recognized as Canada’s first DJ of MMA, DC has also served as Franchise DJ for Hoops Sports Bar and Burrito Boyz, won the 2006 Sonic Boom Radio Award, earned a nomination at the 2012 Pioneer Stylus DJ Awards, and was selected as a Toronto Pride Key DJ in 2022, 2023, and 2024.
