Spence Diamonds is a prominent DJ in the Toronto club scene with a reputation for rocking parties and keeping the dance floor packed. Highly respected for the energy that he brings to a party as well as the musical soundtrack that he creates for each individual night. He was the host of the Power Mix show on Z103.5FM in Toronto and has released two compilations (SPG/Universal) based on music from his mix show. Spence Diamonds has held residences at clubs/restaurants such as Toronto Beach Club, Figo, Mrs Robinson, Amber, Guvernment, Century Room/Everleigh, Foundation Room, Buona Notte and FYE, among others.
Spence Diamonds has not only had this success in his hometown but has toured the world and played in locales such as China, Paris, London, Amsterdam, Vancouver, New York, St. Maarten, Montego Bay, Montreal & Los Angeles to name a few.
Spence has also been a tour DJ for Juno award winning legendary Hip Hop Artist Choclair as well as performing on stages with some of Canada’s finest urban acts backing up artist’s such as Kardinal Offishall, Snow, & Maestro Fresh Wes. While on tour with these groups Diamonds has been the opening act for some of the biggest & best in the business like Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Snoop Dogg, Wyclef Jean,112, De La Soul, Run DMC, Redman & Method Man, Fabolous, Gang Starr, DJ Jazzy Jeff, Mixmaster Mike(Beastie Boys)…
In addition, Spence Diamonds has been called upon to DJ and host parties for brands and celebrities. Nike, Red Bull, New Era Caps, Budweiser, The CFL, Bristol Myers, The Keg, KFC, Mitsubishi and Mosaic to name a few. Recording artists such as Usher, LL Cool J, Timbaland and The Juno awards along with NBA teams such as the Chicago Bulls, Toronto Raptors and Dallas Mavericks have all called on DJ Spence Diamonds for his expertise.
