Having become a fixture in Toronto, Canada’s night life scene for his upfront and energetic, DJ sets, Sicario has been translating his unique sound into original music production over the past few years.
His tunes have appeared on local and international labels, including, Late Night Jackin’, Pluralistic Records, Purveyor Underground, Frosted Recordings, Cuete, Midwest Hustle, Turtle Wax Recordins, and House of the sun. HIs sound has been described as jackin house, tech-jackin house, and “a chunkapalooza of fithy beats” + more.
Sicario started out in the early 90’s rave scene. Although he was originally a jungle/dnb artist, he was bitten by the house bug in his first year of university, after seeing Hipp-e & Halo perform at a local rave.
Over the years Sicario has played alongside Jason Hodges, Hatiras, Flipside, Demuir + more. In 2022 he was a headliner at the Halifax Classics festival. For 2023 he has even more planned!
