Canadian-Colombian producer, DJ, and radio host Juan Jaramillo, aka GMoney, seamlessly blends the vibrant rhythms of 2/4 merengue with the pulsating beats of 4/4 tech house. His journey began with a deep-rooted passion for music, influenced by his father’s nightclub in Toronto and his early exposure to vinyl. By twelve, Juan was already captivated by the power of music, accompanying his father to the club and feeling the magnetic pull of the dancefloor.
Jaramillo’s early career as a radio host on stations like Caliente 530 AM and Energy 108 FM established him as a leading Latino DJ across North America. His transition to DJing saw him spin diverse genres, from house and techno to Latin tribal tech, gaining acclaim through his show, G’s Grooves, on Global Groove 100.7.
Today, Juan’s music is a fusion of warm Afro-Cuban rhythms and deep tech beats, reflecting his early influences and evolving style. He’s performed at iconic Toronto venues such as The Guvernment, Aria, and The Docks, and shared stages with EDM legends like Erick Morillo and Paul Oakenfold, as well as Latin superstars like Ricky Martin and Enrique Iglesias.
