Waheed.TO has been releasing mixes for over 10 years and has been part of Toronto’s underground music scene for a while. He is a multi-genre DJ with mixes ranging between Deep House, Progressive House, and Tech House with a splash of Trance and Techno.
Through his DJ sets, his goal is to take his listeners on a musical journey filled with emotion and intrigue.
Growing up in Toronto’s inner city exposed Waheed to a wide variety of musical genres. Toronto’s multiculturalism exposed him to a host of international styles of music as well as unique musical instruments.
Toronto has a vibrant and lively Electronic Music scene for which Waheed is thankful to have gotten to enjoy since the underground rave days of the mid 90’s.
Waheed aims to bring out the musical influences he’s had in his life into his mixes so that you will experience a pleasurable musical journey as well.
