2024 has been a busy year for Sydney Blu. Her track ‘Give It Up For Me’ was re-released on Mau5trap earlier this month with a new techno remix. Originally released in 2008, ‘Give it Up For Me’ went to #1 and completely changed the trajectory of her career. Almost 16 years later, Sydney is now an undisputed and respected leader in the industry, opening the door to so many artists after her.
We got a chance to chat with Sydney Blu to discuss her organization, Change The Beat, which up-and-coming DJs are on her radar, and what makes the Toronto music scene so unique.
