A part of Toronto’s vibrant music community for two decades, Jamie Kidd is an accomplished instrumentalist, producer, dj, and educator with an affinity for salacious, syncopated rhythms and all things bass.
Featured in DJ Mag as an artist to watch, his music has been highlighted in mixes by selectors including John Digweed, Solomun and Adam Beyer, and charted by icons such as Richie Hawtin. Jamie has performed throughout North America and Europe and is a co-founder of the esteemed Box of Kittens collective and Sunday Afternoon Social events. As a dj, Kidd’s eclectic style has seen him share the stage with many of the best in the game including Jeff Mills, Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Maceo Plex and Sven Vath.
In recent years, Jamie’s focus has been as half of disco outfit TUSH, (“one of Toronto’s most incendiary groove machines” – Exclaim!), releasing EP’s, and the album ‘Fantast’ to international acclaim in 2021. This was followed by a remix from legendary artist Matthew Herbert, demonstrating the duo’s ever-expanding versatility and depth.
