Loxxe is an emerging Toronto-based DJ and producer who brings bold and dynamic sets to any party she plays. Her sound is techno at the core, but also has versatile layers of deep house, melodic progressive, nu-disco, trance and minimal. She’s performed at some of the biggest events and festivals across Toronto, such as Harvest Festival, Everybody, Promise Cherry Beach and the Sunday Afternoon Social. Though fairly new to production, her track ‘Limit Break’ caught the attention of XLR8R, and was featured in their March music submission roundup feature. She has also supported international artists such as supported- Kevin Saunderson, Dusky, Justin Cudmore, Honey Soundsystem, Cooper Saver, The Librarian, Osunlade, Mia Wallace, Hiroko Yamamura, Kenny Glasgow, and Antwon Faulkner
A former bass guitarist and classical pianist, Loxxe took up DJing after living in Osaka, Japan, inspired by the city’s energy and intensity. She frequently draws inspiration from 8-bit retro gaming culture in her selections and productions.
